join the creative flock community
Hi, I’m Mon, and I started flock & doodle as a space where adults can pause, recharge, and rediscover the joy of making things with their hands. I found my way back to art after struggling with burnout, depression, and a late ADHD diagnosis. Slowly, through doodling and scribbling, the creativity that I never truly lost came back to me.
My flock (including my literal pet bird) contains my loved ones, many friend circles, fellow creatives; but also people who have been, or are still going, through all these mental health ups and downs.
this is my answer to doomscrolling, my way to re-energise, and an invitation to play.

It was such a relaxing experience, and I wondered why we people don't make more space for creative moments like this. Just trying out different styles of drawing and techniques, not judging it, letting the creativity and your mind flow. (M, project manager)
It’s a calm space for creative time away from a world of commitments. Thank you! (L, illustrator)
I took a lot of energy from it. It was a good chance to sit and draw. (J, designer)
Mon was sweet and offered a safe space 😊 (P, illustrator)
The workshop was nice and calming, the more free-form guidance was great for both beginner and intermediate artists! (S, bachelor student)
I've never had anything like this laid out in front of me, with so many materials, and guiding prompts, so now it feels really good. I'm glad I had this opportunity. (T, front-end developer)
Do I need prior art experience to join a workshop?
Not at all! Everyone is welcome.
What materials do I need to bring?
Art supplies are included for in-person workshops. For online sessions, anything you have available is fine.
How do I sign up and reserve my spot?
Simply follow the link for the event you are interested in and purchase your ticket there. I currently use Meetup and Eventbrite :)
Do we all need to share what we make in these workshops?
Only if it feels good for you.
Will the free events always be free?
At this point, free events include OPTIONAL donations at the end of the workshop.
Are you a therapist, Mon?
I am not a medical professional. I am someone who’s battled tough mental conditions and has energy and love to share with others. Please keep in mind that sometimes professional help IS required and please always consult a specialist if you are not feeling well.
